I recently acquired a Blichmann stainless steel conical fermenter and my first batch with it is almost finished with secondary fermentation. I think the instruction manual suggested that you can bottle straight from sample spigot but I'm concerned that either A. the end of the tube will be submerged in trub, or B. the trub will be much lower leaving a lot of beer left in the conical unbottled.

Anybody have experience with this or should i just rerack to a bottling bucket?

Personally, I would bottle right from the conical. If it got to the point that there was beer left that I couldn't reach with the sample port, then I would look for creative ways to get it out (via the bottom port, with an auto siphon, etc). But I'd bet that you'll be just fine using the sample port.
