Bottling Carbonated Wine

I want to bottle my next batch of Apfelwein in 750 ml plastic bottles with screw on caps to use as gifts. Is this doable? Source of bottles? Thanks.

make sure they are PET bottles.

i stick to glass. a friend gave me a half case of Mexican coke bottles and I put apfelwein in those (nice thick glass, pop tops).

I also prefer glass, it's never too hard to drain a 12 pack of bottles and scrub the labels off. I let em sit in hot soapy water for a few minutes and the labels usually fall right off.
