Im very new to brewing(this is actually my first brew that is finishing up). So ive been saving bottles to use for my brew. Most of them are twist-offs. The bottle caper seems to work with them but i would like alittle bit more word on this.

Anyone have experience bottling with twist-off bottles?

What Kind of capper do you have?
I was told that some bench cappers can cap twist offs.
My wing capper does not.

My Red Baron Capper will cap them.
I've heard that they don't work very well. I've never had a problem the few times I've used them.
Just because I don't have to, I don't use them anymore. (better safe then sorry)

ill probly use them for my first few brews then and buy regular bottles slowly. Its just hard to find cases of beer that use regular caps. yes im cheap and want my beer bottles prefilled with beer. Its very annoying

I live in Westland and can turn you on to a local guy that sold me a couple cases of bottles really cheap. PM me if you want to discuss further.

Twisties have thin glass at the tip. Even if they hold pressure fine, they will eventually break from capping pressure.
