Hi my brew has been bottled for around a week now, can i put my bottles in the refrigerator to cool now for the remaining weeks or should i just leave them somewhere like the garage where its cool, but not cold?

Bottles should stay at room temp for at least 2 weeks. Then you can stick one in the fridge for a day or so and check carbonation. They will take eons to carb if you keep them too cold.

I usually wait at least 4 weeks. 2 weeks to carb and another 2 weeks to keep conditioning. You can give your beer a try at 2 weeks but you should wait another 2 weeks to try it and I bet you'll notice a difference.

Plus, putting them in the fridge is going to slow down the yeast, so it'll pretty much stop the conditioning process.

I'm a "3 weeks at 70 degrees" guy. I always let them condition 3 weeks at room temp. I give bigger beers longer. Always worked well for me
