Bottleshops and bars in/near Harpers Ferry, WV

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good bottleshops and bars near Harpers Ferry. Also, is there any good local beer I should try?

Near Harpers Ferry... no. There are some great places up 340 in Frederick MD. Used to be a few in Shepherdstown, but the Mecklenburg Inn ("the meck" to the locals) is the only one left (I still call the place the penny postcard).

In Charles Town up RT340 from Harper's Ferry they have a Tap house = 44 beers on Tap

In Frederick take the W 7th st exit east off of rt15 and you will find the Spirit Shop in the lower level of the office building on the left. They have one of the best selections in the area.
