I have to bottle my first ever cider on Saturday for second fermentation (brewbuddy kit).

Once capped how should they be stored? Lying down or standing up?

Thanks

I leave mine standing up so the yeast will stay at the bottom after carving.

I second standing them up. I also prefer the yeast to settle well on the bottom.

Vertical, this way the yeast and sediment form a cake at the bottom of the bottle and makes it easy to properly pour, leave the last 1/8" of beer in the bottle

Thank you. I'm very new and want to do things correctly :)

no matter how clear your cider is, it always seems to settle some thing on the bottom so i always recommend and tell people and friends i givwe bottles to, to let them settle a bit, and then pour off slow into a glass, unless of course you have a wicked thirst and want to chug. watch that last sip!
