Bottled Vs Kegged

I just brewed a couple batches of beer (Hoegarden Clone and Leffe Blonde) and just found out I'll be leavIng country for 3 months.

I will be begging it right before I leave and was wondering if I should just leave in a keg for 3 months orrrr should I have my buddie bottle the (2) 5 gallon batches after about 3 weeks of getting full carbonation in a keg?

I would have the beer drank by month 5 of brewing

I would think you'd be fine leaving it. The only thing that'd bother me would not be knowing if it is at proper carb. I'd hate to come home to find it'd been overcarbing this whole time.

Could your buddy kinda check the carb for you a few times along the way?
