Is it the brewer's best kit? That was one of the guys I taught to brew's first kit, and it was really tasty, especially for a canned extract hit. In fact even though I eventually taught him to brew AG as well, he continued to brew that kit for a quick and dirty quaffable beer.

Its a muntons extract.

What kind of yeast is used with this style?

I just used Muntons.

It's not a yeast driven style, so basically any clean ale yeast will do.

In my experience, Muntons is far from clean. I made an IPA with it and it came out really estery and fairly sweet. I'd go with US05 personally.

I was thinking a strain that can handle higher temps since we are approaching the warmer seasons.
