I have not bottle conditioned a beer for a long time now. I bought some kegs and a fridge and the rest was history. I bottle conditioned every batch when I started brewing, but opted for using a beer gun off carbed kegs when I had the ability to do so

I want to bottle condition a few beers here pretty soon, and was wondering if anyone had some input on a best method. I have read the tips for bottling thread, but am still curious if there is a preferred method.

I have a beer gun, gas, and kegs that I could use for bottling uncarbed beer. I am thinking I could pressure transfer into a corny with my priming solution and use co2 to fill my bottles. Would there be any advantage to doing this over setting up the old fashioned bottling bucket?

What do pros do when bottle conditioning?

I guess I am just after any possible advanced techniques for bottle conditioning.

Thanks!

If you're going to carb with priming sugar, I would definitely do it in the keg (either carbonate in the keg or simply dissolve the sugar into the beer in the keg). Just easier to transfer into bottles once carbonated that using a bucket. IMO
