Since the final gravity is about 1017, can I just go from the primary to the bottle w/out priming?
 
If that's the final gravity, it's not going to go any lower and produce carbonation. If that's not the actual final gravity, it's risky. Wait for it to finish, then bottle with a measured amount of sugar. I don't see any advantage to bottling now other than impatience.
 
I think the fg is actually about 1012. SG was 1080. Using Belgian ale blend from white labs, 77% attenuation and medium-high flocc. I wa curious because i see "bottle fermented" ales an was wondering how to go about doing that. I'll probably just bottle it normally.

This refers to adding sugar and bottling, resulting in bottle-conditioned or bottle fermented beer. This is only done once you reach final gravity though and is probably your normal process for bottling beer.
 
If you've made the beer many times and have a highly accurate digital hydrometer, you might be able to bottle the beer 004 gravity over FG and accomplish this- but there's little gain and too much risk to be worth it.
