I've have been searching, but have not found a source for bottle caps with National Flags. I would like to cap different brews with the cap representing the country of the style of beer. I would be looking for German, Belgian, Ireland, England & Australia. I've seen them with U.S. and Canadian flags........but that's all.

Any leads would be appreciated! Thanks!

1. Union Jack Bottle Caps http://www.discount-homebrew.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=17_91

This is a UK website so I'm not sure if they deliver to the US or what the cost would be.

2. Another option is to order custom bottle caps from someplace like GrogTag. I think there are some other custom bottle cap site out there.

I would think making custom caps of the countries with striped flags would be pretty easy. Australia may be a little more difficult.

A third option is to use avery labels. Again with the avery template and their web design tools the striped flags would be easy to do. I use the avery web based design tools to make my beer labels.

I recently looked at Grog Tag's prices for caps and I think they are not worth it IMO. It's 15$ for 50 caps which unlike their labels, can't be reused. I can't see myself spending that much extra per batch.

This site looks pretty easy to use.

I use this website for free click art. http://www.clker.com

Found an Australia Flag and did this in 5 minutes.

And when you throw in their $11 shipping, the caps are too expensive.

Not when you buy a ton of caps :rockin: And besides, what exactly is TOO expensive? Poke around on this site a little and see how much people are spending. Brewing beer is NOT cheap!!!

True.

The bottle mark.com site it's about $11 incl shipping for fifty caps at 13¢ each.
That's not terrible. If you scale up to 144 to compare with bulk caps, not incl shipping it's about 3x the cost.
When you consider the price of ingredients, it is significant for just caps. But these are custom color caps, and will look really cool. It's about style and you can't really put a price or value on that, being that it's style and all. Look what some folks pay for designer jeans, etc.

NTexBrewer is offline :mug:

The 3/4 " printable stick-ons sound like the most cost effective! I'm sure I can generate a printable flag for which ever country I want.

Thanks for all your input! :D

FYI The British website apparently does not ship to the U.S. cause it just freezes when I try to check out. Like the Union Jack Caps too!

I got 1100 caps from BottleMark for $5 shipping. If they turn out nice, I'll keep buying from them. I'd rather put my extra money towards equipment!
