This simple hack makes scrubbing bottles and carboys quieter and safer. Slide an old piece of tubing over the handle! My night just got so much quieter.

You probably need those for all those 1 gallon carboys you have. ;)
 
Just as important as noise reduction, I noticed that the metal handle can scratch the glass if you scrub too hard. No longer with the tubing hack.
 
Now all you need is to rig the end to fit into a drill. May reduce the silence a little though... ;)

Thats me I guess because unless you remove the hose after every use wont it rust quite quickly and have all sorts of nasties growing under the hose?

This does give me a use for the bottle of plastidip coating from harbor freight though!
