If you have free time or don't want to schlep out to Publick House (which, don't get me wrong, is well worth it - but there's little/nothing else out in that area that's going to be worth your time), you're less than a mile from Row 34 which would also be a killer place to get dinner, and right next to Trillium. Hard to get reservations though. I'd check OpenTable now.

Happy to crack some bottles if I'm around that week, I should be.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look at Row 34 and hopefully after I get my itinerary on Friday there are still some seats available then. I'll hit you up once it gets closer to the dates I'm out there and hopefully we can meet up.

Sounds good. Also, bottle shops in that area- Boston Wine Exchange is like a block from your hotel. Selection is OK, but quite pricy. Urban Grape is like a mile walk, selection might be a little better, but still pricy. I have heard Fort Point Market is actually pretty good with the beer but I haven't been there - that's right by Trillium and Row 34. Downtown is kind of a wasteland when it comes to bottle shops.

Your info says you are always ISO BCBW, Downtown Wine and Spirits in Somerville had more than a case behind the counter the other day.

That does sound strange. I think they are out of MIT and the brewer used to brew at Rapscallion/was a cellarman for NERAX. I'm interested to see how playing it safe/brewing "traditional" styles will fare for them. I'm sure all the yuppies in Somerville will be all over it so they will survive for a while.
Rapscallion and NERAX in the same sentence makes me want to just fall asleep.

Looks like I'll be attending a trade show in Boston July 13th-16th. I'm getting my itinerary on Friday since I'm a late replacement sub for someone else that dropped out, so hopefully I have enough free nights away from the client to enjoy some local stuff. Hopefully some of you TBer's will be free as well to meet up. I'm staying at the Omni Parker House hotel.

I've been looking and I'm going to try to hit Nightshift, Trillium and Mystic brewery-wise and then Lord Hobo and Publick House dinner-wise.

Anything else I'm missing? Perhaps a good bottle within walking distance (mile or two) of the hotel? Appreciate any feedback.

i'll be around the 15th if u want to meet up

doing a day trip to Night Shift and Trillium on Saturday... anything else I have to hit in the area?

I'm doing Tree House tomorrow

If you're hitting Trillium in the afternoon as late as 4 PM, I'd recommend Row 34 for the second time in 2 pages.. oysters and beers!

ha... got the same rec on FB. Thanks... has to be at 4pm though? I can probably make that work

Attenzione: Parabola, Sucaba, and Stickee Monkee all on draft at Cambridge Common.

Is this still the case and/or do they have TV's for World Cup viewing? Going to a buddy's in Porter... Only been there once and downstairs at that.

Did you ever get your itinerary? Still heading out this way?

Still heading out! Unfortunately there's a lot of "optional" TBD Team dinners. Since I'm with the client I have to go to at least one. Basically have to play it by ear. Sunday and Tuesday might by best options.

If y'all turn this into a Lord Hobo field trip, post a heads up. It's high time I might some live humans from this place.

Anyone know of a store that still has bottles of Gose Gone Wild? Had it on tap at Row 34 (that place is awesome) and I need some more.

*********, I started drinking early for the World Cup... don't want to drive into the city now
Treebs are you gonna be around in the coming week?
