Rosé de Gambrinus on tap at Deep Ellum as of 4pm today

Thanks for sharing this. Found out my buddy that owns Penrose Brewery here in Geneva, IL is in Boston today. I let him know this morning about this post. He just texted me a picture of a glass of Rose. He thanks you for sharing. I know he's headed over to Trillium at some point too.

Glad he was able to get a glass. Kind of a mindblower that this keg hasn't kicked yet! I'm pretty sure its been on since Monday!

How busy is it right now and limit on cans?

I'm 32 in line about halfway point right now. Julius cans when they are ready later will be 8 per person but they don't know exactly when they'll be ready. King Julius is 1 750 per, and only once through the line.

CBC using space at Mystic to bottle some of their sours/wilds sounds good to me. From their FB:

CBC is stoked to finally share some truly exciting news for craft beer fans. Our Barrel Cellar and Bottling Project are growing in amazing ways!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CAMBRIDGE BREWING COMPANY ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF BARREL CELLAR AND BOTTLING PROJECT, EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH MYSTIC BREWERY TO BRING MORE DELICIOUS BEER TO THE PEOPLE.

Buildout of famous barrel-aged beer program, and exciting bottled releases of wild ales to be brewed and aged at Chelsea’s Mystic Brewery.

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts –April 15, 2015 - Cambridge Brewing Company (CBC) today announced that they will expand their world-famous barrel cellar program with a major investment in oak tanks and barrels, to be housed at Mystic Brewery in Chelsea, Massachusetts. With the new brewing capacity and available space will come an opportunity to bottle and distribute many of their award-winning beers which have previously been available only at the Kendall Square, Cambridge brewpub.

CBC Founder Phil Bannatyne expressed his excitement for the project stating "this is a shining example of the cooperative spirit and camaraderie for which the craft brewing industry has become known. Our two local small businesses teaming up to share space and new equipment offers us a unique opportunity to expand our own offerings, as well as to speed the growth of our friends at Mystic whom we’ve admired since they began brewing.”

Will Meyers, Brewmaster at CBC, agreed. “We first approached Bryan Greenhagen (Mystic Brewery Founder) about finding space to brew, age, and bottle some of our wild and barrel-fermented beers and grow our barrel cellar beyond the constraints of our cellar at the brewpub. We’d purchased a new brewhouse and gear but did not yet have a location for it, and we only wanted to use it to brew a limited amount of beer annually. We seized upon the chance to both use this equipment and maximize our potential to bring really adventurous beers to market!” The deal involves the purchase of the new brewhouse and equipment by Mystic in exchange for production assistance of CBC’s beers. CBC will be providing their own additional fermentation capacity in stainless steel, oak tanks, and barrels.

This exclusive arrangement allows both small Boston-area breweries to take better advantage of raw material purchasing power and to grow in an industry experiencing dramatic expansion. The agreement does not include any exchange of ownership stake in either company. “This opportunity and our mutual expertise will improve control over the production of very challenging beer styles, bringing exceptional CBC beers to thirsty craft beer fans. It’s just two sets of friends helping each other out” added Meyers.

They conspicuously didn't mention it, but it's Hill Farmstead's old brewhouse.

So nuts. Hilariously that's Pretty Things' distributor. But they all do it.

It was pretty packed, but was a good time. My favorite of the night was actually from Notch - Zen Arcade. Solid.

Heard some good things about Zen Arcade. Their last random hoppy thing they put out (Infinite Jest?) was really nice too.

Artaic is great - pretty easily my favorite trillium beer. Didn't open stonington last night but I'm sure it'll be good. The line definitely surprised me - which I'm guessing is why people feel justified in trying to trade it for cantillon or DDG or some whatever else. Trillium did said they're planning on releasing a larger batch of it in 6 months or so, so if you missed out this time, maybe next?
