With any luck, I'll have my kegerator complete this week-end, and can begin loading my pipeline.

I've read https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/keg-force-carbing-methods-illustrated-73328/ at least three times over the week-end and think I've just about got it figured out. If someone could help with a couple clarifications I would appreciate it.

I plan on boost carbing some of the kegs.

20lb for 24 hours?
30lb for overnight (12 hours)?
XXlb for XX hours?

Before doing the above, do I cool the keg, or does the time count down include keg cooling?

Cool your keg down before hand. Cold liquid absorbs CO2 more efficiently, also volumes of CO2 is dependant on temperature, so you'll want to keep your temp steady through the entire carb process. No force carb technique is THE technique. You will get a different answer from everyone. I put mine at 20 for 48hrs and agitate the keg every once in a while, then purge the gas and set at my serving PSI for a week or so.
