I'm really happy you posted this. I had been searching the net for a columbus/cascade mix as I was wondering how those hops would play together. Basically I had a major brew day F up and had to substitute on the fly. I was making a Zombie Dust clone and in the hustle and bustle of a busy week didn't realize that my citra hops were not in my online order that was delivered(SWMBO threw it in the fridge while I was at work). Long story short after mashing realized I had to substitute hops and make a totally different IPA on the fly. Only non noble IPA hops i had on hand were some cascade and Columbus so I went with it. Similar amounts to your recipe but different grain bill obviously. After a week in the fermentor it tastes great.I might have to try this recipe down the road. I am going to dry hop mine with a couple oz of citra as my order showed up. We will see how it turns out. Thanks for posting.

I like it, been looking to make use of the of the cheaper hops in my IPAs. Even centennial has gotten pricey this year. Think I'll be brewing this one tomorrow.

Thanks for posting...

Brewing tonight... Adjusted hops to 4 oz Columbus and 8 oz Cascade, but this is exactly what I was looking for to utilize some "less expensive" hops.
