I have a keggle with a HOP spider, pellet hops goes in the spider and leaf hops goes straight to the keg. I have a screen filter on my pickup. I have brewed 2 batches of beer, both still fermenting. I just chilled the wort and put it in the fermenter. Is that bad? Should I not transfer all of it? The first carboy has settled nicely and the beer has cleared well. Its ready for bottling.

Nah, it's ok to let the hops and break material go into the fermenter with most beers. I like to fbag my hops and try to rack the wort from the break material when I transfer the beer to the fermenter, but it's mainly to reduce trub loss after fermentation. I used to let most of it right through into the fermenter and didn't have any problems other than a bit less finished brew. :mug:
