I had a Blow Over through standard airlock. Just blew the cap off, oozed out all over towel wrapped around carboy. I quickly sterilized a blow off tube, removed airlock, very carefully wiped around opening and put in tube, instant bubbling. Foam subsided somewhat overnight but still great bubbling. I switched back to sterilized airlock and immediate activity less than a sec apart. Any bacteria or contamination concerns switching back and forth?

There is a very small chance if you sanitized everything well. Most likely everything is OK. I suggest starting EVERY fermentation with a blow off tube installed. There is also no need to switch back. A blow off assembly does the same thing the airlock does.
