Will 3/8 tubing work for a #6 bung? If not what size

Also will it fit a 6.5 as well??? Thanks!!

The 3/8" tubing is 3/8" Inside diameter. The hole in all of the stoppers I've seen are 3/8". Unless you drill out the hole to be just slightly less than the OD of the tubing it won't work. I would recommend using at least a 1/2" blow off tube.

I use a carboy hood and 1/2" tubing fits the larger nipple just right.

They come in sizes to fit most carboys and are available from most home brew suppliers.

If you go with the carboy hood, trim about 1/4" off of the large nipple, as it narrows at the tip.
