I just saw today that my blow off tube had fallen out. The longest it could have been out for is for probably 48 hours. Which to me seems like a long time. It could have been as little as an hour ago though. I'm not exactly sure of the time it cam out because the last time I checked it was 48 hours ago. I've read some forums on here that related to my issue but they all said that the bubbling was still happening after it had fallen out. There is no bubbling going on anymore in my fermenting bottle. That said I still installed the airlock and it is now back in the dark room I had left it in. Is the beer going to be ok or has the fermenting process been killed? Thank for all your help in advance.

It's likely fine. How long has the beer been fermenting? Maybe it's done. The bubbling in a blow-off vessel and airlock are not the best indicators of what is happening with your beer fermentation wise.

I like black and white options.
So you think you may have some airborne bugs, right?
Option 1: throw it out and definitely not have beer.
Option 2: keep it. Let it finish. Taste it when you secondary. Good: keep it. Bad: throw it out.
Either way, you've learned something and have a story.
