So I have been brewing for almost a year and no major problems. I just noticed a blow-off tube from my last batch(1.075 Weizenbock) has come out of the bucket. The beer started major fermentation last Sunday. I just noticed the tube out of the bucket today. No blow-off on the floor, so I am not sure it has been out for that long. I put an airlock into the carboy.

What should I do? What should I be worried about?

Thanks for the help.

Even if the krausen had fallen, there would still have been a layer a CO2 gas in the carboy keeping it more or less "sealed" since it is heavier than oxygen. Unless someone was tossing debris into the opening, I don't think you have anything to worry about. So... RDWHAHB

Hey Punk, just noticed that you're in Mukwonago. I'm in Elkhorn, and grew up in East Troy. Nice to see a nearby brewer!

Thanks for the answers!

I threw in an airlock and it is bubbling. So I hope all is well. 10+ weeks til I find out.

yep, the invisible cloud of co2 will protect it. Your fine
