I am doing a primary fermentation in a corny and am using a blow off due to the head space being limited in the keg.

Is it OK to leave the blow off on for the duration of the primary (2-3 weeks) or show I try to swop it out for an air lock.

Thanks!

I use blow offs exclusively. No need to swap out for an air lock if you have the end in some water or star san solution.

Personally, I like to slap on a clean tube or an airlock after primary if things get messy. Just seems a little unsanitary to leave a crusty blow off tube on the fermenter for 3 weeks or longer.
