Blichmann top tier question

Going to buy buying a top tier, just one question for those who have used it.

I currently have a cooler mlt, however soon will converting to a kegged mlt. Being the relative cost differential, can I go with three burner tiers and just not use the burner on my mlt tier?

buy the heavy duty shelf instead of the 3 rd burner.IIRC it uses all the pieces that it takes to mount the burner except it has a stainless flat top.remove the top and add the burner laterwhen your ready. as always,ask blichmann if this is the case,don't trust my memory

The burner could hold the weight but it may not fit a rectangular cooler. It would hold a round one with no issuers. I have three burners on mine and may buy a shelf just to have during brew day so it may be worth it to have both.
