That is interesting and would make disassembly easier. But I dont find it that hard or really necessary at any frequency that would justify spending a hundred bucks.

The two times I've taken mine apart for cleaning, it was clean as a whistle. That's likely due to the way I circulate hot PBW through it when cleaning my kettle too. It also gets some StarSan run through it at the end as a standard cleaning cycle.

If I brewed more frequently, like becoming a nano or something, I'd probably be more interested.

I’m thinking about these. I’ve gota pair of March 809s on my Brutus, and been eyeing some Chugger heads, but for an extra $40 and the reputed performance improvement, leaning this way.
