I like kegging my beer, but I want to share it with friends so I want to be able to bottle it. So I was looking into the Blichmann beer gun. Anyone ever use it?

I have pin lock kegs. Will it work with them?

Any advice here?

i have tried homemade ways of bottling beer from kegs, to get nothing but frustrated haha. the beergun is an awesome tool and makes bottling from kegs so much easier. i wouldnt go back to anything else after using one.

as far as pinlocks i dont know, you would have to look into that, but im sure there would be a way to get it to work. you can always email them at the blichmann site they get back to you very fast and are very helpful with anything you need

beer gun rules. some people on here might disagree, but I've used home made bottle fillers and the beer gun and I'll take the beer gun every time. it will work with pin lock kegs, you just need to swap the ball lock disconnect that the accessory kit comes with for a pin lock disconnect.

I typically run mine without the co2 attached and just use the "cap on foam" technique to purge the air out of the bottle just before capping.

I did the tubing in a cobra faucet for filling bottles and then used the beergun for the first time last week. Beergun wins easily.

The beergun and 2 accessory kits from Austin Homebrew give you everything you need to use it. I've heard if you buy the BG and BG accessory kit elsewhere, you may still need a T adapter or some other minor part.
