Bottles using kegs as brite tank. All went great, good carb in first opened bottle. But it didn’t make a single noise when the opened like a bottle normally does. Should I have concern on the rest of my bottles?
Did you have a lot of foaming issues when bottling? What was your procedure for bottling? Purge keg? Lower pressure?Bottles using kegs as brite tank. All went great, good carb in first opened bottle. Blichmann recommends raising the PSI on your keg by 1-2 the night before to account for the small loss of CO2 using their gun.
When I bottle from my keg it's usually being consumed that day/night. The odd thing is when breweries bottle their beer it's already carbed up. However you crack one open and it has the nice hiss sound and isnt under carbonated at all.
