BLAM! DFH Festina Peche and Stone 7.7.7 est Arrivé!

Walked into my second job this afternoon at the wine/beer shop, and what did I see? Something from DFH that I've never seen before, called "Festina Peche"...which is apparently a neo-Berliner Weisse with Peach juice added. I've got one chilling down now. Anyone ever had it?

Not only that, but the Stone VE 07.07.07 arrived today too. According to the bottle, it's a Saison/Tripel-style this year...with, among other things, ginger and grapefruit peel added. Gonna pick up a few for some good ol' aging, and one for drinking this weekend. Anyone else seen it yet?

I've had the festina peche before, straight from the brewpub. A very respectable beer! I just picked up a 4 pack of it at lunch too. Not one of my favorite DFH beers, but definately done well for the style.

Mike Gerhart actually gave us some yeast from that batch and I used it in a Buckwheat Honey Black Ale. Pretty far off for a Kolsch style yeast, but it worked extrememely well.
