I'm trying to work up a new original label for the homebrew. So, what do you think?

Does it need some color, or does it work without it?

if there was going to be any color at all, then I think the brewery info on the sides could be a very dark blue/purple. that might look nice. But I think the main part of it should stay black and white

If you were to add color, it'd be cool to add a single highlight color - much like the Gatorade ads with the funky/gross colored sweat.

If I were going to do some color, I could do something like the color changing depending on the style of beer. Gold for a wheat, red for a red ale, and so on.

So, color depending on style, or stick with the B&W?
