BJCP 2015 Vanilla Porter

I am going to be submitting a beer for my first BJCP2015 competition. It is an American Porter with Vanilla. I am confused though as to what style I should claim. I've been told to use 30A - Spice, Herb and Vegetable but all the similar recipes is see are listed as 20A - American Porter. The concern I have is 20A references no additions such as vanilla. Anyone have any experience here?

Enter as Spice Herb Vegetable. Describe it as an American Porter base style with vanilla added. That's the protocol.

Do not enter as a regular American Porter if that vanilla is at all perceptible.
