So, I was planning on brewing a test batch this weekend, a brown or porter beer with some added spices. And my friend stopped by last night and dropped off some presents for me, a lot of hops and grain. What he dropped off was mostly cascade, citra, centennials, with some warrior as well.
When I brew a darker beer such as a porter or a stout, I dont typically worry about Hop aroma and usually just add my bittering to get the IBU's im looking for. I Usually use Fuggles or UK goldings. The question is if I use the warrior for bittering instead, would that affect the flavor at all? I can always buy 1 oz of fuggles, it's not that expensive but I was hoping to use what I have
Thanks for any help!
