This beer was featured in a George Lopez bit last night which emphasized the fact that people were complaining about it -- (please don't flame me for watching George Lopez).

I think I'm going to have to try it, purely out of morbid curiosity.

I heard about it on The Onion. CO has some weird liquor laws, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to find it at any of the Walgreens in Denver. But if I see it, I'd probably pick it up. I'm not an American lager fan, but in high school I drank a lot of Lucky lager, so I do have a soft spot for cheap beer.

I'm the same way about Hamm's. I stole my first from my grandfather's beer fridge when I was probably 14. So when I saw Quik Trip selling suitcases for $9, I'm not too proud to admit that I bought two of them.

I stopped by Walgreens last Friday and grabbed a 6-pack for $2.99. It's not a bad beer by any means. Those who are bashing it are expecting something different than what they're tasting. Judge it for what it is! Here's a pic of the pour. Cheers!!!

And workin' my way down the draft...

And a pic of my American Lager currently on tap. Color is about the same. Mine is a little more flavorful due to a late hop addition.

I just picked up 4 sixers. apparently when you buy two the price becomes $5 so my total out the door for for 24 beers was 11.04.

if I am going to drink cheap beer I want it to be cheap. BMC is NOT cheap i'd rather buy craft than BMC.

edit i have probbaly gone through 50 of these beers since my local store started carrying it.

I need to brew more and build up a pipeline.
