Hey all, now that I am doing ten gallon batches I am wondering IF ANYONE KNOWS ANY OPTIONS FOR FERMENTers with 15 gals or so gallom storage for fenmetation. Lookng to brew 10 gallons batches at a time. Any help is apprfeciated.

Sure, there are conicals (plastic and SS), barrels, and I have even seen where people used food-grade liners inside of a 20 gallon non-food safe container (e.g. trash can).

Much of it depends on your process (can you fill in place or will you have to move a full fermenter) and your temperature control setup.

At the end of the day, I just use another ale pail.

Use a 15 gallon Sankey keg. You can usually score one off Craigslist for less than $50 (as long as you promise to eventually return it to BMC of course...)

Rubbermade Brute, the ones with NSF stamped on the bottom are food safe plastic. Just be wary of the conditions the store kept them in, I've seen some nasties at the hardware store. Got mine from a restaurant supply.

Hell yeah guys thanks for the tips, I was looking around online and just couldnt find exactly what I wanted. Going to be converting a keezer into a bitching kegerator then using another fridge for temp control. Was totally drunk when I posted this question last night. Glad I did it thanks again
