I would like to order one ASAP and receive it ASAP. I love the look of the ones available at http://www.biab-brewing.com/?page_id=11 with the velcro and loops for carabiners. Problem is, they're in Canada and I'm not sure if customs will slow the shipping process or not.

What bag do you use, and can you order custom sizes and does it "do the job?" Strong? filter out husk well? etc.

Let me know so I can get one in the mail.

I will be putting it in a 15 gal Megapot 1.2 with a false bottom.

Thanks!

This is a common size, I keep a few ready to ship. I can have a bag headed your way very quickly. I can also ship priority mail rather than first class to save a day or two shipping for a couple dollars additional if a day makes a difference.

Price comparison for custom sized BIAB bags w/ shipping below...

wilserbrewer
http://biabbags.webs.com $26

(4 piece package w/ pulley $36 )

bagbrewer
http://www.bagbrewer.com/order-a-bag.html $35

http://www.biab-brewing.com/?page_id=11 $35 - $40

brewinabag.com
http://www.brewinabag.com/ $42

We work hard to keep prices "right". Two week no haggle return policy, purchase price money back if you are unsatisfied for any reason. We want you to be happy and hoppy!

Thanks

Another happy Wilserbrewer bag user. Those bags are damn near indestructible (check out the pic on his site showing one holding 100lbs of barbell weights).
And you can get a 4-piece package deal for about the price of a bag-only from the other vendors. Plus, you're supporting a Homebrewtalk sponsor.

I have a 50 quart Aluminum pot with the insert. Do I measure the full pot or just to the bottom of the insert to measure for a BIAB bag?

If you plan to always use the basket insert, I would measure the outside diameter of the kettle, and the height from the bottom of the basket to the top rim of the kettle. If there is the possibility that you may try not using the basket, I would size the bag to the full pot, and then it can still be used with the basket with just a little additional excess overlapping the rim.

Thanks for the information, I will measure for the full kettle.
