Gonna do my 1st BIAB. Gonna mash in a 10g cooler with bag because my kettle isn't large enough for full volume. Anyway, I'm trying hash out a mash profile in beersmith.

I figure I can use the default beersmith BIAB mash profile with some adjustments for my equipment, i.e. set the mash tun to 10g, not 8g (which is my kettle).

Anyone have experience with this or thoughts?

That is a good place to start. Consider also if you will be pre-heating the cooler with hot water. If not, then you will need to have the software correct for the thermal capacity of the cooler and the temperature difference from ambient to mash temperatures.
