I have a Danby kegerator that my wife (no pics) gave me about 5 years ago. I want to start kegging home brew, but it would be nice to be able to easily switch between corny kegs and commercial kegs.

Anybody have great advice on the best way to do this?

Easy...use a commercial keg for your homebrew. There better in every way (except keg hopping)
I haven't used my corny kegs in years.
Do a search on ebay for sanke kegs. There is a vender selling brand spanking new LEGAL kegs for $75 shipped.
Simply untap your homebrew keg and hookup your commercial keg.

Sanke kegs
4 ft lines
Perlick flow control faucet
Forever hassle free/foam free/leak free/clog free system....you can thank me later

You can buy conversion pieces to make ball lock connectors fit right on the sanke taps.

Note that you may need to get a right angle for the liquid out if your kegorator is vertically challenged. Something like this

I did what TexasDroughtBrewery shows, but I hate screwing the lines on and off, so I think i'm moving to what I show above.

Edit: I did what is shown around the 2 minute mark of the video. What I linked is what they show at the end. Two ways to get to the same result.
