Best way to store equipment?

Hey all,

I'm just wondering how people go about storing their equipment. I'm trying to catch some ideas for my home setup. I'll likely go into the garage for it, but the basement is an option too. Do you use racks of some kind? Anything particular? Anything especially handy?

I have one of theseHere and it holds just about everything I have except my carboys.. Although you can probably get by with the plastic shelving I just went with this..

Nothing fancy. I nest things which will nest (dry), and stack what will stack. Then it goes in a spare bedroom dedicated to storing my hobby equipment. Brewing stuff just lines the wall along the floor.
Hoses I spin dry over my head, and hang dry.
