Well a few years ago I bought some 16 oz glasses from wal-mart for about $10 for 12 glasses. These were crap and I knew it, but the price was right. Now that all but 1 of the 24 I bought are broken I'd like to get something sturdier. I'd like 16-20oz pint glasses, would like some sort of tempered/heat treated ones. Imperial pints preferred, but 16oz is fine too. I'd even be ok with the 15oz shakers.

Looking for 12-24 of them, anyone know a good online shop or place to buy them? I am in the far northwest Chicago suburbs. Would be nice to be under $2 a glass in quantity. Thanks!

I just get them from brewpubs or local restaurants. There's a place here called Total Wine And More that was selling Stone and Bear Republic glasses. I bought up a good amount of them. They've all held up pretty well.

I know that doesn't really help, but I wanted to share. Good luck in your search.

I've gotten quite a few by going to the local pubs/bars and when they serve me a pint with a breweries logo on it, I just ask them, "What's it gonna take for me to take this home", and 9 times out of 10 the bartender says, "take it."

Yeah, it costs me $6 or $7, but I get a free beer out of the deal.

I got some Libby beer mugs from Big Lots over Thanksgiving for under $2.00 a mug. They have held up pretty well. :tank:

I'll check out the "Big Lot's" type stores. Looking for a case just so I don't have to worry about it again, may just need to spend the dough for some really good tempered glass ones.

I bought 8 sets of these and love them. I bottle in 22's a lot so they are perfect. No complaints at all. They run free shipping randomly so you can get them to your door at appx $2 a glass. They are not super thick but they have held up to my clumsy antics.

Dillard's

conpewter,

If you find any, let me know. I am just south of you in South Elgin. I have been looking for the same thing, but have not been able to find it without spending a lot of $.

My local dollar tree dollar store has a lot. Both pint and larger mug( probably 22oz) and also 16 oz pilsner glasses. They are all $1. They are very nice made in the USA

Any decent kitchen store will usually have a section devoted to beer glasses. I got a case of 12 standard pints about 2 years ago that ran me about $15.

Thanks all! I'll check out the dollar store as well as the GFS marketplace. Will come back and update.

Skimming Dillard's site right now, will probably buy local but if I can't find it that would work.

Just got back from GFS marketplace (Commercial Kitchen store that also sells to non-business people) they had 16 oz pint glasses for $1.25 each, no shipping. So picked up a case (12) of those.
