"certified British water sommelier" ??? Who the eff does this kind of certification?
It's a 9-day course at Doemens : https://www.watersommelier-union.com/water-sommelier/#training

Randomly, I've actually been to that restaurant in the past, before it went quite so la-di-da. The irony is that the local water is great, it comes from rain on gritstone and straight into the reservoir so there's little to it - 50ppm CaCO3 equivalent, 23ppm Ca, <15ppm Cl, 25ppm SO4. Who needs RO? :)

But they're out in the country and our drink-driving laws are reasonably well enforced so I guess they're trying to work some wine-like margins on non-alcoholic drinks.

"working alongside certified British water sommelier"

dang, @doug293cz beat me to it

but, still begs the question, does Ward Labs have to worry about us brewers seeking alternatives to that darned pesky scientificalistic water testing?

From the link to the water sommelier website: 'Persons who aspire to the title “Water Sommelier” and do not have the time to attend the nine-day water sommelier course at Doemens Savour Academy can also obtain this coveted title in a three-part, modular programme.'

"coveted title"? The pretentiousness just drips.

Brew on :mug:
