This weekend I will be doing a 2 gal BIAB Maris Otter/Cascade SMASH. Anyonewith BIAB experience or knowledge, what's the best grind for my grains in order to achieve the best efficiency? Seems like a finer grind would be better.
With BIAB you can crush much finer than you can with most other systems. You might end up with more debris in your wort but given time and/or clearing agents it will settle out of solution giving you a pretty clear beer.
