One of my brothers-in-law developed a fondness for Old Speckled Hen when he worked in London many years ago. It's quite possibly his favorite ale. Most of the beers I brew are not really to his taste but more to my other BIL's taste. So just to be fair, I've decided to try a clone. I've searched this and other fora and I can't say that I'm any closer to choosing a yeast then I was when I started. Suggestions would be appreciated, especially if backed by experience. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Leaning toward S-04 because I've used it for some other styles and been happy with the results, but wondering if one of the Lallemand British yeasts might be better suited.

Yes, I use S-04, and I've tried others before settling on that. S-04 makes the malts and the hops shine.
