I got a bunch of kegs for real cheap because some of them have bent valves. When you look down on the keg, the valves are facing outward instead of straight up; these are pin lock kegs.

Is there an easy way to fix this? Could I hit it with a hammer until they straighten out?

I wouldn't use a hammer, the best way to try and "tweak" them would be to slip a pipe over the top thats snug and give it a bend. But I say "tweak" because it really should be minor. If they seal I wouldn't worry about it.

Ya I was thinking of just cutting the handles too.

I might try the pipe method to see if I can straighten them a little.

One bad thing about the bent posts is that usually the dip tube is bent and on some of them you wont be able to get the tube out to clean or replace the O ring.

Does anyone know what size the beer out and gas in holes are? I am looking for a steel rod to try to straighten them a little bit.
