I just scored two corny kegs. Although the sticker was $10 each, the seller only asked for half of it. He said that nobody picked them at his asking price when he had a garage sale so I can have them for 1/2 price. He just wanted to get rid of them.

They both were a bit dirty on the outside. The inside was clean with no odor at all.

As I did to all my previously acquired kegs, I disassembled all fittings and soaked them in Oxyclean.

Best $10 I spent on brewing equipments... :ban:

Hopefully they both hold pressure..

I just followed what others have done in the past. Soaked them in Oxyclean (inside and outside), followed by Bar Keepers Friend on the outside to shine the kegs.

It also depends on the Keg. I have several, which I paid much more, but don't look as good as these ones after following the same procedures.
