Hello, I'm a complete beginner to brewing from India and plan on making Ginger Beer, Root Beer, passionfruit based beverages, etc. Can someone direct me to an overview on what equipment I'll need, how to start. And if there is any member from India, I would appreciate any tips on where to buy the relevant supplies, Thank you.

There is a great book called Home Made Root Beer, Soda, & Pop that I would recommend. I have a copy and it has many recipes in it to get you started, from which you can start creating your own.
Here is a video that shows the process and you can get some ideas of equipment needed. There is also some other root beer brewing related videos on the same channel, that may be of some help.
