I just brewed up a hefeweizen and I went into beersmith to update it with my actuals from the brew day.

I just found a section of BS where you can select carbonation method. I chose the keg method because that is what i do. I then input a Co2 volume of 3.5 (higher end for hefs maybe?) so that i could see what to set my regulator at once i keg it.

it worked, but it had a red circle next to it saying that it is out of range for that style.

I'm just curious to what their range is for the style? I selected weizen for my style. Would that be the correct style?

Also, i do not see anywhere in BS where it lists out the co2 volumes for styles. When i open the style selector it just shows abv, gravity, srm, etc. no co2 volumes

Im mostly just curious to see what BS has for co2 volume ranges for each style

Hmmm. Mine shows a co2 volumes range for each beer style, but I've never referred to it.
