beersmith attenuation tool

hey everyone, If I check 1.063 to 1.013 on my hydrometer, it says I would get a 6.9 ABV , but when I type that same OG/FG into beersmiths percent alcohol and attenuation tool, I get 6.5 percent abv. is beersmith right or is my hydrometer busted fruitloops or what?

it depends on which formula is used hydro diff *1000*.131 or .129
