When I make a recipe in Beersmith, it says that the ABV Est (the top of the Alcohol section) is 4.69, but under Actual ABV it lists 0.65%

I've tried making different recipes and it says the same thing. Is there a button or menu option I need to push to calculate this? Everything else auto-updates.

You need to make sure that the field under measured OG and Measured FG is updated with accurate readings. Otherwise it defaults to other values. Let us know if it works

Ah ok! Cool thanks, I didn't realize that those two fields were for ME to enter the values on brew/bottling day.

Still, what's strange is that this is what shows up:
OG Estimate 1.065 OG Measured 1.065
FG Estimate 1.017 FG Measured 1.017
ABV Estimate 6.29 Actual ABV 6.27
