Beers fermenting too loud

I have my blow-off tube in a growler filled with star san and love hearing it thump thump thump in the ferm chamber, which sits in my kitchen. I sit in the living room and can hear it fermenting away.

SWMBO caught the flu bug yesterday so I slept on the couch to keep my exposure to a minimum. At first it was nice hearing it as I fell asleep, kind of like rain on a tin roof. After awhile it slowly turned to leaky faucet. If I weren't so lazy I'd of gotten up and put an airlock on it, but I suffered through the night. On a positive note waking up hearing it thumping away was nice as well.

Put a blanket over the bucket it should muffle the sound somewhat.

Thanks but I'm not too worried about it. Sleeping on the couch was a one night thing. It's in a chest freezer which I think makes it louder to some extent...lol. Just found it amusing that something I normally love listening to became a source of annoyance.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! You and me both! Granted, she got me into this hobby, but she can annoy the $h!t out of me without even putting forth effort. Lucky enough for me she is hot which makes up for a lot. LOL
