Beer Types For Bourbon Barrel Aging

I recently got a used bourbon barrel from a local distillery and I am looking to fill it up! It's 15 gallons, so I want to make sure I brew a type that I will want to drink 100+ beers.

What are my best options besides a stout/porter? (It seems like a chore to drink 100 stouts!)

Also Belgian tripel, strong, quad; Scotch ale; Rauchbier or other smoked beers.; Saisons/Farmhouse ales.

Imperial IPA is another option but can be tricky (Jai Alai and Dogfish head are 2 that I liked) -- I think these are barrel but maybe not Bourbon barrel.

And of course Bretts and sours are a whole nother world if you do those.

I read about a something-vetleren a couple days ago.
It's a Belgian in which you boil down a part of the wort to syrup and return to wort
It was highly prized.
Someone will chime in with corded name.

Scottish wee heavy, Belgian strong dark or Quad, or a smoked beer - those are the ones I'm considering for my next barrel. (The first one was an imperialized Velvet Merkin recipe and it's the best beer I've ever made.)

Anything with a lot of Chocolate malt in it - the oak character really complements that.
