I have a batch that is ready to drink in my kegerator. I had a couple pours from it yesterday then after a few hours, I could no longer draw any beer from the tap.

I tried the same line with another keg and it worked just fine. The only thing I can think of is that I put some pellet hops into the keg (I have done this before with no problem) and they may have become too cold and jammed the line in the keg.

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this or further troubleshoot?

Thanks

You can de-pressurize and take out the dip tube to clean, then sanitize and re-install. Don't forget to re-purge the keg after you put it back.

Anyone try to put the Co2 disconnect on the beer line and turn on the gas? Would it blow out anything stuck in the dip tube...Just a thought i have never done this.

Hmmm that sounds like it'd work too. You have to change the disconnect on the gas line though. But I bet it would work.

Just be careful...I would turn down the PSI and slowly turn it up until you see it start to bubble. Otherwise your going to have beer everywhere!

??? No need to remove the lid. Just open the pressure relieve valve, close it back and re-pressurize the keg through the Out post. So there should be no chance of spilling beer.

That said, I'm not sure how well this will work. If you have something solid enough to clog the tube, after you "blow" it out, it may settle back to the bottom and get sucked back up again. It is worth a try, but it may clog again after a few pours.

Good luck.
