I made a keezer and am gluing beer labels and cigar bands to the top. I have been picking up a six pack at a time and drinking then soaking the bottles to get the labels. Some labels are more stubborn than others and I was ripping a lot of them. So today I decided to email some breweries and see if I could just mail them a self addressed stamped envelope and they would send me some labels. I've emailed almost 15 and heard from 8 all ready. 7 of the 8 were craft breweries and were more than happy to oblige me. Two even just asked for my address so I didn't have to mail them the postage paid envelope. But what really surprised me is that when I heard back from Guinness they said they couldn't because they didn't own any of the packaging materials, including labels. What a shame this world has come to were a guy can't even get a label from the brewery that makes it.
 
I don't drink a lot of Guinness, but the last draught I had was a full bottle shrink wrap label. You can probably take an X-acto knife and cut out the part of the label you want.
 
Ya the ones around here are shrink wrapped. but I was thinking they might still ship the paper label ones to some parts of the world were they can be cheaper and less flashy with the labels.
